2013 albarino: From the Lost Slough Vineyard in Clarksburg. The vineyard is planted in sandy loam & clay soil that contains shells and was once below sea level. Picked at 20 brix and bottled with no fining or filtration and minimal SO2. Fermented in Neutral Oak Barrels and bottle aged for over two years to give it delicious acid and minerality with a slight saline quality. A serious wine for the adventurous wine drinker.
